Reframing Your Mindset By Celebrating The Little Things

I’m sure you’ve heard it before, and you’ll hear it again. But there is so much truth to celebrating the little things. The more we celebrate – the more we will be given to celebrate!

So today, let’s celebrate!

What are you celebrating? Or what are you grateful for?

I am grateful for:

-       My health

-       My ability to hear and see

-       My family – for their love and unconditional support

-       My friends – for supporting me and celebrating the wins with me

-       The time freedom I have created with my work

-       The ability to travel, and experience different cultures

We live in a world where we are very lucky here in North America. Sure, there are struggles and political differences, but for the most part we are very fortunate. We have access to clean water, to nourishing food, to jobs (minimum wage or not). We have the luxury of living a healthy life. We also have the luxury where abundance is a becoming a mainstream way of thinking.

Abundance will come when we celebrate the little things. When we prove to the Universe that we are grateful for what we’ve been given. The energy of this state will open the doors to more of what we want.

Have you ever heard the idea ‘be careful what you wish for’? It’s true. For example, if we are constantly thinking about all of the bills we have – guess what? The universe is going to think that’s what you want or what you are wishing for and send you more! You know what I mean, when there’s more month at the end of the money and the thought of paying your bills on time becomes all consuming – that’s the month your furnace breaks. Or your car breaks down.

Without realizing, our thoughts will often create cycles that we can’t seem to get out of. I could go a lot deeper and share that there is probably a lesson in that that you aren’t getting, but I’ll save that for another day!

But what if you reframed your negative mindset. More bills, great! Ugh. To I am so thankful that I am able to pay this bill, because paying this bill allows me to have hydro, to heat my house and to have running, clean water. Paying this bill will allow that company to pay their employees. Those employees will be able to pay their bills and have hydro, heat and water. And it continues… It really is an amazing cycle.

Simply reframing your perspective to a place of gratitude will allow you to receive more to be grateful for. Try it. I promise you, it will work. And if not, what’s the worst that can happen? You’ll be happier as you go throughout your day? Hmm!

So let’s celebrate the things we can be grateful for today. Say it out loud, journal it, think it silently in your head. However, feels most comfortable to you!

Have a great day! Ruth
